2025-26 Winter Golf

GUEST SIGN ONS - with daylight hours now giving us a challenge and the clocks going back this weekend, we ask all members who are bringing a guest to only insert the number of guests they are actually bringing. It is not acceptable to be booking 3 guests in your tee time when there are only 1 or 2 guests coming along. During the winter months our priority is to ensure our members have every chance of getting a tee time.

At the weekends, guest bookings will only be available after 11.30am. Before this time tee times will alternate between the two clubs and are for members only. If these bookings are not fully taken up by Thursday, they will be amended to allow guest bookings to be inserted. "A Medal” and  "A Tie” will be removed from BRS for the duration of the Winter. Failure to adhere to the above will mean that you will be reported to your Club Captains.
Guest sign on rates will reduce to £20pp from the 1st November for all members.

TEE BOOKINGS - during the winter period we reduce the spaces between tee times to 7&8 minute intervals to generate more tee times through the shortened day. Please ensure therefore that you report to the Golf Shop AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TEE TIME. It is important for us to manage the tee times on time to ensure everyone gets away on their allocated tee time.

COURSE ETIQUETTE - please be mindful of where the group in front are and where the group behind you are, and if you are playing to a slower pace then allow a quicker group to play through. We are not asking you to play quick but we do ask that you allow quicker groups to play through.

BUGGIES & SINGLE RIDE ONS - The buggies that are available from the shop will not be in use over the winter period commencing 1st November. We have agreed that single ride on buggies will still be permitted but we ask all players using these to stay off the middle of the fairways and keep to the side. If your ball is in the middle of the fairway, then please park to the side and walk to your ball. Please also stay well away from greens and surrounds.

SHOP SWEEPS - we will be introducing Winter Sweeps over the winter and like previous years these will be run across the two clubs and from Friday through to Sunday, should we be playing on winter greens at the start of any day then no sweep will be played for that day.

HOLE CLOSURES - it has been agreed that the 7th hole will be closed on Monday 17th, Wednesday 19th and Monday 24th & Wednesday 26th November to allow the Greens Team to work on their bunkering programme.
